Pineapple And Scotch Bonnet Sauce In 125ml Square Maraca Bottle

£6.00

Pineapple And Scotch Bonnet Sauce In 125ml Square Marasca Bottle

This sauce is another “NEW” EXTREME CHILLI SAUCE FROM Holly And The Ivy which is not as extreme as our now well known Carolina Reaper Chilli Sause (2,200,000 SHU) in a 50ml Glass Skull Bottle.

After comments made by customers we were asked if we could make larger than our 50ml Pirate Scull so we have revered back for this new product to our original 125ml sauce bottles we used a few years ago and because the cost of the bottles we are using are significantly low priced we have passed this on to our customers and increased the volume of the bottle to 125ml.

Scotch Bonnet, also known as Bonney Peppers, or Caribbean Red Peppers, is a variety of Chili Pepper named for its resemblance to a Tam o’ Shatner Hat. It is ubiquitous in West Africa as well as the Caribbean. Like the closely-related Habanero, Scotch Bonnets have a heat rating of 100,000–350,000 Scoville units.
For comparison, most Jalapeño Peppers have a heat rating of 2,500 to 8,000 on the Scoville scale. However, completely sweet varieties of Scotch Bonnet called Cachucha Peppers are grown on some of the Caribbean islands.

This fiery sauce based on our Carolina Reaper Sauce recipe contains Fresh Pineapple (47.5), Sugar (8%), Cider Vinegar (32.2%), Salt (0.02%), Fresh Scotch Bonnet Chilli (12.1%) making this a sauce not to be missed by all the CHILLI HEADS.
